Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design/analyze/evaluate products related to Automotive Seat Systems and Interior Trims.
  • Develop product specifications and procedures.
  • Proficient in PDGS and I-deas for Ford Motors support, proficient in CATIA V4 for Daimler Chrysler support.
  • Proficient in advance surfacing, proficient in 2D detailing and descriptive geometry, and novice in GD&T.
  • Ensures that ECN requirements are followed.
  • Final end check of all models and drawings output of other engineers before submission of there completed task to customers.
  • Communicate issues/concerns to internal/external customers and suppliers.
  • Support study/research/benchmark best practices towards product improvement.
  • Make proposals to improve processes and operations.
Special Accomplishment:
  • Learned the right discipline of 3D solid/surface modeling and 2D presentation.
  • Early completion of Ford Motor’s archived drawings converted to dxf format, which was originally estimated for 2 years to complete but only took 6 months for me to finish the job.
